Thanks Pokey. Yeah the silencer brace is a must. The gun can cycle fine with my G&GSS100 silencer but the KM SEALS one is much too heavy, but the KM has a great foam material that actually makes quite a difference in the muzzle report. I plan on making an even longer inner barrel now that I have the brace, for extremely high power and accuracy.

Looks radical.
How did you end up installing the mag catch? I've been trying to replace mine but am having no luck.

What mag catch did you get, Guarder or G&G? Where are you getting stuck on the installation?
You need to take the slide off, then look down the mag well, you can see the vertical bar spring that goes in the mag catch, you need to use a flat head screw driver or something like it, to push the spring/bar over to the right (if the barrel end of the gun is facing away from you). the mag catch has a little slot all the way over to the right, that is where the spring goes in. So you push the spring all the way to the right then pull it outwards towards you to pop it out. Then just put the new one in and use the screwdriver to push the spring/bar back into the new one's slot and make sure you push it all the way over to the left so it is secure. If you are using a Guarder mag catch, you may need to use a small file to file down the top of the spring/bar because the Guarder mag catch slot is often not deep enough. |

Phrozen, I was actually going to buy that bipod, then I decided I could use this other one to create the brace I've always wanted.
Glad you guys are diggin it. :-D |

Not very practical at all (if even practical). However, looks kinda nifty. Good job!

1 question on my side, how much did all this set you back in total?

Conrad The gun cost a bit over a $1000 American at this point.
Illusion The barrel is a 9ball tightbore made for the KSC M93R Auto 9 C. I had to do a little custom fitting to make it work (filing the sides flat where the hop up goes). Dozer, I own 13 Glocks. This is my carbine, it's very practical for what it is. The stability and accuracy with this gun are insane compared to a hand-held pistol. Also, the telescoping stock and folding bipod make it quite compact to carry and it is quite light. So I have extreme power, accuracy, precision, and most importantly Glock durability. Try taking your AEG sniper weapon into a swamp... |
