Ares G36 won't fire.
So I am having problem with my G36. I decided to post this new thread to start new. The problem is the gun clicks but doesn't shoot. From my research I believe this is because the 7.4 Li-Po is not strong enough to pop the gearbox open to get it unstuck ( AEG Troubleshooting - Situation 2: Gun does NOT shoot, makes a grinding/clicking noise - YouTube - qoute from this video) He describes my problem well.
When I attempted the anti reversal block trick I put my gun together and it sounded like the gears were pulling the spring back but stoped just like before and just "jam" again. Then when I pull the trigger it just clicks. What can I do? I will probably buy a new battery. A stronger one. What do you guys suggest for this gun? Please answer these 2 questions. 1. Why did the 7.4 Li-Po work for about a week then now im am having these problems. 2. Is there any other reasons why an airsoft may have this problem? Click but not shoot? |

Pretty much all 7.4V LiPos can pull fairly strong springs given the right conditions. Even those crappy little 1000mAh G&P sticks can do it. It's all about torque and power delivery. Your stock motor is likely quite weak torque-wise. Yank it out of there and see if it sticks to your fridge door. If not, it sucks balls and has ferrite magnets. If it does, it has neo magnets and you probably have some other issue.

So I pulled out the motor and it barley sticks to anything. Do i need the battery plugged in? I almost felt like there was no magnetism but little screws will hold on it.

Anyways, if your motor is having trouble compressing the spring, this can be one of many reasons you may have trouble pulling off a shot... but not the only reason. If this was your own build I'd also suspect over-shimming as a possible issue. Another possibility is that you've adjusted your motor too high or too low in the pistol grip and it is either binding against the anti-reversal teeth of the bevel gear (too high) or not getting enough grip against the bevel gear (too low).

I also suspect weak motor and/or bad shimming.

Please stop making a new thread for EVERY single problem with your gun. You have made 7 threads for this single gun. It would be much easier if you posted in ONE thread. Just some food for thought.

Try someone else's more powerful battery.
Also, what kind of charger are you using for your lipo? |

IT CLICKS BECAUSE OF THE MICRO-SWITCH, But it could still be fried
