Gunk White Lithium Grease - O-Ring safe?
Hi,
I was wondering if Gunk Brand White Lithium was O-Ring safe. I just put some on my cylinder and piston head, and they're cycling well, but I don't know if it'll eventually disintegrate. The lube is the tube/paste-y kind, not the spray bottle. There's no composition list on the back, so I don't know if it's petroleum based or something. Any info would be appreciated! Thanks!

Generally white lithium grease should be safe for use on plastics, but may I recommend SuperLube: the ultimate airsoft lubricant. http://www.homehardware.ca/en/rec/in...c74/R-I8640063

Petroleum based lubricants will eat plastic/rubber seals. Lithium grease and silicone oil are non-petroleum and work well with plastic and rubber parts.

I use superlube for EVERYTHING, bought a large tube two years ago, still have about a 1/4 l/3 of the bottle left.

Been using superslick white litium for some time (everywhere) and it yields great results
No sign of degradation whatsoever

I've heard about FrogLube and SuperLube for awhile, but never found any. O.e
Is there any significant benefit to using either lubricant in the gearbox? IE) Reduced oil-paste separation, higher viscosity, less flinging, etc. etc.?

I left the link and there is many Froglube youtube video about the benefit.
Video Articles Tests & evals For ounce, it was built around firearms. Second, whenever you lube, you can smell it (menthol), so you know it has been done.  Quote:
