Att. gun doctors need help (please)

Hi I have a M4 with the following issue. She (it's a girl M4) will shot one time and no followup shot for a couple seconds, Then it will shoot one time again and on and on. I tried 5 different batteries and it acted the same ~maybe a little worse with the 8.4s as compared to the 9.6's. It does this regardless of mag in or out. She has the following internals built by Venture.
• Bravo Version 2 Gearbox
• New Steel Gearset
• Steel Anti Reversal Latch
• New Lonex Premium High Capacity Trigger Mech. Ver. 2
• Trigger Safety Switch
• New Element Type 3 Cylinder
• Version 2 Cylinder Head
• New Full Steel Teeth Rack Piston
• Piston Head
• New Element Perfect Fit 120% Spring
• New Element Steel Trigger
• M4/M16 Selector Plate
• Tokyo Marui Tappet Plate
• Gearbox Spring Set
• New Element Version 2 Cutoff Lever
• New Stainless Steel Version 2 Ball Bearing Spring Guide
• New 2MM Gold Bullet Connectors – 2 sets*
• M4/M16 Airseal Nozzle
• ICS Motor
• New Military Action (MA-Taiwan) SS 6.03 TB Barrel – 363MM
• New CNC Aluminum M4/M16 HopUp Chamber
• New HopUp Bucking and Nub
• New Dean’s Connector
• Labour- Prepared, shimmed and assembled new Version 2

* 2MM Gold bullet connectors installed mid-wire on both positive and negative battery leads. Installed on opposites to be foolproof when connecting in a hurry.

Doesn't matter if the selector is in semi or full auto. I've never had a AEG apart , but i'm going to and i was just hoping for some ideas that i should look for. Also she seems to be making a different sound now.
Thanks in advance Rusty

Roll hopup back to zero. And what brand of bbs are you using.

Do you mean it

a) only cycles every few trigger pulls or
b) only fires a BB every few shots?

If (a), which I'm assuming since you mention it does the same mag in or out, maybe your trigger switch is tight and sticking? I'm no expert, so that's more of a random first guess.

If (b), I would say switch BBs and make sure that your mag is seated snugly in the magwell and up into the Hopup.

I never even thought of that, is it the cycling or feeding that is a problem( #1 or #2 above)?

Well i tried King Arms Platinum series .20's and BB Bastard .25,.28 and Perfect BB .3's and also dry firing it still acted the same. The problem is she needs a rest before cycling again. I haven't touched the hop-up since i owned the gun, it was just right out of the box. Only cycles every few trigger pulls

OK, so it is the trigger mechanism. Try slower, more deliberate pulls on the trigger.

If you cannot get it working well, then I would suggest a gun doctor to fix a trigger mech problem. It would be a little much for a beginner to do.

If it doesn't work beter for you, find a good local gun doc and I will send any parts he needs to him. He may just have to adjust the contacts on the current trigger mech, it is a brand new and supposedly a "premium" trigger contact!

Also, check the motor contacts again. Sometimes they are loose and give intermittent contact.

I think your correct Ron , it feels like a trigger issue. I will find a nearby gun doctor (toronto) and keep you posted Thanks

Maybe expansion/contraction of the metal plates on the trigger contacts are the cause? If it works when it's warm and not when it's cooler (outside) it might be the case.

In which case if you can open it up try bending the contact plates like venture suggested or getting a new trigger setup....

Is it new or used?
Trigger contacts could just be really dirty, or really melted if the previous owner used an 11.1v LiPo

A short could act like that,I had the same problem on an AEG. 2 or 3 cycles, then I had to wait 1 min to be able to cycle again.

Are the battery/motor/wire/fuse hot ?

She is refusing to work at all now, I don't remember the battery or wiring warming up. Do you think i could discover anything with my multimeter? Maybe continuity when i pull the trigger? Just a thought

Continuity as well check the resistance. High resistance = high heat, could be causing connections to warm up too much.

Could be a short in wiring, motor might be a dud (its been known to happen)
Actually, take off you grip end plate and verify both your motor leads are on the motor, I've seen it happen before where someone had that issue and their leads just fell off the motor. It's happened to me too actually lol

According to my ctc multimeter ( yah the cheap one, what can i say) resistance is 11 ohms when i pull the trigger. A bone stock TM Aug same test =0 . A bone stock TM ak =0 as well.. What does this mean? trigger contacts? Already checked the motor connections... great minds think alike or idiots never differ lol
