Removing mag release button.

Hey, I am trying to take the mechbox out of a g&g m4 commando max. The only thing holding it is is the mag release button.

All other guns I seen simply has a screw in the middle of the button but mine has a black circle like a pin almost but doesn't go to the other side.

My brilliant mind can't figure out how to remove this thing. Maybe yours can?

Push button all the way in
other side sticks out
twist long part
unscrew

Maybe in the future if you plan on taking it a part a few more times, Capital Airsoft has quick release button. I have the same issue on my VFC and ended up scratching up the receiver unless you keep that button pressed all the way in until the mag catch is completely off.

Ahh yea that was it thanks for the help guys. I really don't like this setup. It does cause scratching and is just more difficult than it needs to be.

The long part get caught on every turn too.
