G&G CQB-R CAS version conversion to full metal

Since the AEG in question is a G&G CAS version, and the full metal upper and lower receiver are made by G&G this should be a straight forward process, shouldn't it
The upper and lower receiver are from a SR-16.
Does anyone have any tips or advice for this swap, I am willing to upgrade some components now

I don't exactly understand what you're asking. You have a G&G metal body, or some other brand, or what?

You weren't very clear, but it should work anyway because like most guns, G&G's are pretty much TM clones.

Are you swapping a G&G SR-16 upper for the stock G&G CQB-R upper? If so its just pulling out the pins replacing the uppers and putting the pins back.

please word your question more coherently.

My apologies if my post is being misunderstood

I shall start again then
I purchased a G&G CQB-R, the CAS version, this is the one with tinted lower receiver
I then purchased a G&G SR-16 full metal upper and lower receiver.
I now want too swap out the receivers and make the CQB a full metal Aeg

Hope this clearer now thanks

Nope not easy I have found out
1. CQB (cas version upper does not fit a SR-16) full tear down required
2. Barrel does not fully engage into a SR-16, just about 2mm off, my fix grind off 2mm from gas tube (to fit the rails)
3. Watch that wire placement on rear, need to grind a clear channel

Tools required for this change
small mallet, flat blade screw driver, small punch, needle nose pillars

Special tools, A #2 Phillips screw driver at least 8" long to remove crane stock
Snap ring pillars to remove the barrel
before

After
