ca m24 mag wont go in magwell
I just purchased a classic army m24 military version and the magazine wont fit into the magwell. To add to this I just noticed a brass thing at the end of the magwell near the stock of the rifle. This brass object looks bent upwards. What is it and what is wrong with my gun?

Are you putting in the magazine the right way? And that brass thing is probably the mag release.

The "brass thing" is usually what secures the "mag" in place, as well as serving to release it.
Also make sure the lip of the "mag" is pointing in the correct direction. Pictures would be appreciated as well

Can we have pictures please? It'd be a lot easier to see what "brass thing" you're talking about it since you can't seem to identify it

I haven't received anything yet. Out of curiosity, does the part move if you push the mag release?

Al-right I got it; Hm... have you tried pushing the metal piece back into place? If I'm not mistaken that's the hop up.
Although, Amos/ThunderCactus seems to be better suited for this (I'm better with TM/AGM VSR10s), send him a P.M. There's the image for anyone else

Can I see this image? I was an owner of an m24 for a couple years. if Its what I think it is, might require you to disassemble it completely.

Why 2 threads? Unscrew the stock from the gun, seat the mag in the stock (making sure your hop up isnt twisted inside the barrel and is aligned, then reseat the stock and screw in.
