Semi not working.

Ive got a bran new classic army m15a4 that I was working on, and semi is not working at all. The trigger on the gun had snapped, and I purchased a replacement for it, and also tried a couple replacements I had. Since then semi does not work. I have noticed the selecting the different fire modes is a little difficult, but I blame that on the metal body, Its a little stiff even with the mechbox out.

I believe it is the cut off lever , because everything seems to be fine. When I move the gears in the gearbox the cut off lever doesnt seem to move the trigger switch at all to disengage the contact in the switch.

The trigger that ive got for it now is a modify trigger, but ive also tried a G&G, SRC and JG trigger. Same problems. Other than the new trigger, and a s100 modify spring, everything is stock in the gun.

Cutoff lever seems to be fine from the looks of it, no wear as far as I can tell.

The spring for the cutoff lever is fine and springs it back into place when i move it by hand.

The Sector gear seems to be fine also, I have a second CA sector gear also that I tested, brand-new, and it gives the same problem. I have a spare cutoff lever that I will try, its G&G.

Carefully bend up your switch assembly contacts a bit. Make sure your selector plate us actually contacting the switch.

On this specific model, there are no contacts that touch the selector plate. The selector plate does not have a copper contact as seen on this
