Post Importing clear guns?

I was wondering if it was/is legal to buy and ship in a clear gun from the states? Since clear rifles are legal "in" Canada I see no need for them to be seized. Help me out guys

Okay the mods posted that cannot, its stickied in this section.... So NO you cannot.

Buy from Canada support airsoft in your country.

Also why would someone want a clearsoft? We aren't here to play 'war' or 'gunz' in the backyard

Why would you want to? There is already a plentiful selection here, and you won't exactly be saving any money if you plan on shipping them in. Duty and other border costs are significantly expensive, and in most cases you'll be spending in excess of the cost here to bring it in.

Just because you "can" doesn't mean you should. Likely you'll get nailed with duties and taxes. So maybe it's cheaper but then you also might get your package sent for secondary inspection where it'll take years to get to you. In the end it's not worth it to "save" a couple bucks. Just don't go to Timmies for a month or something and you'll save the money you would have spent there to spend on buying in country where retailers have already done the dirty work for you.

There are enough clearsoft guns in Canada already. I think theres this misconception the price listed on the website in the states is what you going to actually pay (plus shipping). This is not correct as you WILL be slammed with duty and brokarage fees when it comes acorss the border, IF they even let it in. Now your big savings has turned into a more money in the long run or you left with no money and no gun if they do seize it. Plus if its coming from the US it will have a big orange tip (regardless to what is pictured on the site). Its really not worth the risk. It might take some hunting but you can most likely find a good deal for the same gun already in Canada. As L473ncy said let the retailer do the dirty work, and save yourself a headache.

We permit spoonfeeding in the newbie tank but it's assumed you'll read the rules and the FAQ at a minumum before posting.

Thanks.
