Magpul PTS screw lost...

Hi,

I lost a part during a game, it's a screw.
i tryed to contact Magpul company, who refered to me spartan import for the part. But they never answered me...

I finally decided to find a solution. If someone can give me all information about the item ( size, ratio, thread.... ) That's will be awesome!

On the manual its D20 ( last part of the handle... )

Thx

Crappy tire, Home depot, home hardware all have em. Just bring the bottom cap of the grip to the store and start trying screws on.

He's asking about the size so he can replace the ones that he lost. So instead of telling him the size (I don't know), a place where they might have it is the next best thing.

1. He's likely not going to get the answer of TPI, etc...from someone on here. I could tell you...but only if I had the original to measure
2. If someone on here that does have one...odds are they would pull it out and say, "hmm....dunno how to measure that for you"

Despite that...most screws used in airsoft guns are pretty common screws. If you've got an odds and ends bin of screws, you could try to fit one to see what threads fit...then take that screw to Rona/HomeDepot/CanTire to find a match. I'd be a bit leary taking the lower in to try stuff out in the store...if the grip came off a la M4 grip, that'd be one thing. But in that it's a one piece grip/lower it might be alarming.

You could even try some of the other screws from the same gun...i.e. B7 or c16 to see if the thread match.

I've recently worked on one and I kinda remember the screw size. I'll see what I have in my screw bin that's about the same, and I'll get the measurements and thread size for you.

Edit: It's Metric 0.5 x 6mm

I don't think box hardware stores will have that size. I don't know about Montreal but around where I live, there is a electronic store called Sayal that have these small size. Check if there is one where you live or look for a specialty electronic store that sells parts.

If you can wait for shipping, order from Mcmaster-Carr. They will have them.

I'm still waiting for a angel who would take a pic of a original screw from the Masada and send me the pics with rules, ratio, thread.

Thank you.
