Will I get it?

If I was to order a gun like this.

http://shop.ehobbyasia.com/umarex-ha...tol-black.html

From that site, would it make it across the border?

Thanks.

EDIT: I live in Ontario.

Thanks for your reply. I also phoned airsplat and asked if they shipped to Canada. They said yes even after I talked to them about Canada's import laws. They responded by saying that they mark the boxes as "Toys" so they haven't had trouble with people's guns being seized. They also said that customs does random checks but it's very likely a gun will get through. Are they flat out lying to me?

Thanks.

Every retailer will tell you the same shit. Once they have your money, they don't care if your package gets to you or not.

Okay final question and thank you very much for the responses.

How can I get my hands on a good looking, good quality, metal, airsoft gun. Or is metal out of the question?

It's very simple. Look up a age verifier in your area, buy a timmie, meet up with your id to prove you're over 18+, wait a few days then look through the classifieds on here for your gun.

The only help we can really offer you is to get age verified then the world of Canadian Airsoft will open its doors to you. And trust me you wanna be in that room.....

I've read all those. I just wanted an opinion or two on what to do in my exact circumstance. I've been looking in the retailers section and found that mach1airsoft sells some cool guns. I'll get age verified soon I've found that Joe (Crunchmeister) is the age verifier in my area. I'll try and meet up with him sometime this summer if that's okay with him. I've been looking for a nice airsoft pistol and thinking about going with something like this http://www.mach1airsoft.com/catalog....m&id=209&cat=8 Would anyone suggest anything different?

Short answer is...if customs is doing their job it won't get through the boarder.

In general the KJW one you picked out is hit or miss. Some work decently well...others break down quickly. It's not a mark against the retailer...it's more to do with the manufacturer and that model. The G23 has a very, very small magazine (where the gas is held)...and so is more affected by temperature and variable in performance depending on how fast you shoot.

Searching is key to your questions. Here are some keywords that you would want to look for:
- customs (it'll return A LOT of threads...so check the FAQ's first)
- cooldown (cool down), temperature, gas pressure, propane
- XXXXX review (i.e. G23 review....or USP review)....there aren't a whole lot of "tell me all about this gun" reviews on this site, but plenty of Q&A stuff...try Googling "Justpistols" to find a link to a great review site that has lots of info on airsoft pistols.

this gun is full plastic. and has a tinted frame. if you don't mind appearance, then thats fine. from what i've been gathering the KJW CO2 pistols (full metal) are being imported to ditributers. i shot a CO2 1911, and it was nuts!

also, if you are just starting airsoft, you may want to consider a rifle first. pistols are fine for small cqb games, but will lack in range and fire power for large (area) games.

if you are looking to just have a toy gun to shoot at targets, it might be good to look into .177 pellet gun, for the accuracy will be greater. they are also, for the most part, cheaper then airsoft.

I care a lot about looks. I'm sure I want a pistol. I thought you couldn't get any full metal guns in canada. Where are you guys finding them?

I noticed the classifieds are for personal sales only and there is no talk about retailers in those sections. Where are the people that are selling their full metal guns getting them?
