2 little problems with tm hicapa 5.1
Hi, I have a tm hicap 5.1 with some upgrade (slide, spring kit, and maybe others)
first problem : sometime, when I attempt to fire, I have a click and then I press the trigger again and it fires. It's just a little bit annoying. second problem : the little roulette that ajusts the hopup always scroll back so that the hopup is off very quickly after ajusting the roulette. If someone can help me with with these I would appreciate. |

All your answers are there, no really, read through the entire load of pages, yeah you could be lazy and ask someone to do it, but its all there in one of those pages. That thread is what I consider to be one of the most educative threads you can read even before firing off a single round on a TM HI CAPA. Stock TM guns are VERY VERY efficient, HOWEVER, every modification or upgrade has its own ups if you're careful and downs if you're lazy. Now to be helpful even more: it might be your valve knocker, but you'll have to read the thread to get full diagnosis.

its the disconnector, it doesn't have enough force pushing it back into position. do a takedown, and lube it up. Check the leafspring and bend the right prong forward just a bit, see if that helps.

for the hopup issue, its normal, since the hopup wheel turns in the same direction as the blowback....
The only way to make it stay would be to either glue it, or shim it so thats it fits tighter... |
