I've owned a KWA Mark 2 1911 PTP for just enough past warranty, and have been having this problem since I purchased it. The impact hammer will not depress the magazine gas release unless it is pointed down as far as it goes. The photographs explain it better. As someone chimed in on KWA's forums, no, the leaf spring is installed correctly.

Is the spring adjacent to the IH supposed to create tension on it, or is it just there as a spacer? Melting it into the downward position may work (poorly), but it'd be hefty intentional damage to get it working. Does it fire in the upper position for any of you guys? At a loss as to what solutions or fixes are available here. Photos confirming that this is how it should be working would also help. I understand the average person doesn't bother going this deep into their GBB, but any help is greatly appreciated.
