new to airsoft / airgun
hello first of all
ok through rigorous searching on the internet i was not able to find what i was looking for so i thought i would give it a shot here on these forums. Before i say anything else im gonna say that i am new to the airsoft / airgun world. I have not owned either type of gun in the past but looking forward to making my first purchase soon hopefully. First of all i must say that it is painfully hard trying to find a Canadian retailer for what i am looking for. i wanted to buy a spring loaded(NOT gas or electric)revolver. i was looking for something with preferably higher than 300 fps and an 8" barrel. i would prefer it if i could find one without the orange tip on the front like most guns floating on the internet. Does not really have to be full metal as i do have a budget just no orange tip. I am just looking for a gun for starters, just for small target practice and nothing intensive. i kno its a weird request and i rambled but that is the best i could explain it if you are still confuesed i can show u a link of what i am looking for, an example would be a dan wessson 8" revolver thats a high end one but somthing similar to the "look" of that. Any help would be greatly appreciated thanks. |

to my knowledge a springer revolver does not exist. Especially one which would shoot 300fps. I believe only gas revolvers are your only choice in the matter. Where to obtain one though, you'll have to become age verified to find out

Spring Power Revolvers do exist, they are just not practical for anything at all, plinking target shooting or even as a paper weight. Due to their design their FPS outputs are extremely weak, so finding a spring based revolver that can out more than 300 is extremely unlikely.
Currently, no Canadian or even foreign retailers stock such an item. If you are interested in something for "target practice" then I would suggest sticking to the air gun / pellet gun route instead of the airsoft gun route. Simply because they are easier to acquire and are more suited for "target practicing".

hey guys wow was not expecting such a quick response but thanks alot .
ok so the deal is if i were to absolutely go the revolver route i would have no choice to go gas powered im not really opposed to it just preferred a spring since thy are cheaper. and i am not sure about being age verified not that im not 18 just was reading this forum and it seems like it takes a very long time to do so like a month especially where i live and i was kinda hoping on buying it before then :P i already know places that sell them but they are the full metal ones and kinda expensive and cant find the 8" barrel i was looking for for example http://www.dlairgun.com/Smith-Air-Pistols.html i would not be oppsed to getting a 6" barrel but i hear 8" improves accuracy even if its slightly http://www.pyramydair.com/p/crosman-...revolver.shtml 6" if cheaper than that i suppose that is US i think tho thanks again guys |

Sometimes you have to sacrifice some of your requirements if you do not have to the budget to meet your requirements.
Since the items you have listed are airgun/pellet gun I will refer you to a Canadian airgun forum as they will be more knowledgeable in helping you acquire the item you are seeking. http://www.airgunforum.ca/forums/ Since airsoft and airguns are two separate things, I'm sure the folks over at airgunforum will be able to answer all your questions better than we would be able to. Best of luck.

hey man i now were you can get a revolver spring gun with no orange tip. go to www.blazingtoys.com or just type it in google. they have spring revolvers that will defently make it through customs, only one problem the gun is completly clear but you can fix that with some paint.
hope that helps. |

After reviewing the above linked website, I only saw 1 revolver at www.blazingtoys.com. It has an orange tip and the barrel does not meet the users length requirements. Its also out of stock.
I would recommend not purchasing anything like that and saving the money towards a quality item. Best wishes, the folks over at airgunforum are super knowledgeable and friendly.

Yes, is there something I can do for you?
I believe I have already rendered assistance on some of your questions. Was there something else?

until you take the time to become age verified, we cannot and will not provide information on where to attain any airsoft gun. Age verification does not take long. anywhere between a day to 2 weeks to get status, but all it takes is a quick meet up with a verifier and possibly buying them a coffee for them going out of their way to provide you with their volunteer service.
