M14 ebr

Would this gun be a good first weapon? Or does it fall under the sniper, and should not be bought as a first gun :O?

heavy, expensive. usually used as DMR platforms due to the previous.
you can try them as a first gun but be prepared to shell out some decent cash as it is quite expensive. last one i saw went for about 850$+
heavy i've seen them go about 15lbs unloaded then you ad scopes, bipods, batteries, mags...
to each their own...

TM or go home. Other companies just don't stack up to it.

Also, heavy guns are annoying, you'll easily be leaving that one at home to use a lighter one during games.

Mmm....Yes that's right. But I was sorta hoping I find prices from out of the country and if their in USD prices I would get a general idea of how much they are here in Canada.

Er, not the same, at all.

You're looking at 2 times or more the price of american prices.

Sometimes less, sometimes more. I beleive Surebet has a thread on this. Look around before posting, search, educate yourself. Its not hard to do.

get a regular M14 (TM and TM only) and then work your way up from there. You may find that an M14 is not suitable for your style of play. If you think lugging an M14 is a pain in the ass, DONT get an EBR.

the thing about the classic army is that it takes G&G or CA M14 mags ONLY
usually for m14's the standard is TOKYO MARUI and nothing else

Why do everyone say TM only?

G&P's M14 DMR is fantastic. Held it and shot it in the States, fantastic rifle.

the G&P is essentially a decked out tm, since it takes the same mags to my knowledge

Yeah, G&P does an insane amount of aftermarket stuff for TM, so its not surprising that it'd be a direct direct 'clone' so to speak

I gotta say though! This WE m14 is fuckin' sweet.

If you want to learn about prices, check the first link in my signature. The second will also help.

Forget everything you see price-wise on out of country sites until you understand Canadian prices.
