Cannot get my battery to charge!
Looking for some help here please. I have a 7 cell 8.4v 2400mah battery cannot get to charge. I have a phrofet sport II. It says press and hold the start button and the LED will blink but it doesn't
Also can I test if the battery is fried? It seems to have resistance through it when I test. |

not really. test the volt, charge it with a different charger for a few hours and check the volt again. at least you can rule out the battery being fried.

Hey man, just sent this as private, but the Prophet Sport 2 can have finicky connectors. The Charger should make a loud audible beep sound as soon as you connect the battery. If there's no beep, then theres no secure connection, which obviously could mean a bogus Charger (which, can happen with Prophet chargers), or battery, or just loose connectors. The only real way to know is by trying a different charger.
Just take the battery down to a hobby shop and ask to see a different charger. Open it up, and connect your battery at the shop. Should help you out. thats what I did with mine. |

Prophets are not the best form QC or long term durability. I have seen a bunch stop working all of a sudden. Try something else. If you need to buy an other one, the Onyx 210 is perfect for airsoft use. |
