lipo battery?
Hey,
Quick question, Just picked up a lipo battery and it has different style connector on the end, i need to switch it to a deans style end. Just want to make sure that i can go ahead and switch the end without doing anything specific to the battery pack. Cutting the positive first or the negative... Any tips would be appreciated. Cheers

The positive is generally more difficult to solder if you have the negative done first, so do the positive end first.

Do one wire at a time and just make sure you don't arc the leads. But if you REALLY wanna be on the safe side, solder it close to your outside door and leave the door open lol
But don't worry, LiPo's don't go up very quickly, you should have ample time to grab it with a pair of pliers, run through your house and throw it out the door before any flaming occurs! |

Yeah Tcactus thats exactly what i did....worked pretty good, lets see how long it takes to break a stock A&K m249 saw mechbox using a lipo battery..lol
Then i can start building a new one for it. ![]()
