Question about shipping parts across the border

I know there is no way of getting full metal airsoft markers across the border but what about the parts for them? What can I buy and ship cross border and what isn't legal and will be picked up by customs? What kind of internals can I ship? and what about body parts?

you can pretty much ship anything except the restricted part of the gun e.g the lower receiver on a m4

No, on something like a P90 or a FN SCAR it's the upper.

I believe Silencers are also restricted.

As for the receivers, I'm not 100% sure but I believe that whichever part (upper or lower) that would carry the serial numbers on it's real steel counter part is what is restricted.

I am not familiar with airsoft.

What my question is, does the element of surprise work on a typical airsoft match?

The part that carries the S/N on the real steal is often what's considered restricted.

Guns not markers, this isn't gayball.

If you are looking to build a gun from scratch, DON'T

get av'd and buy a gun from the classifieds on this site, or from one of the site supporting retailers.
