KJW M9 series 92 problem

I know I should be posting this in the doctors corner but the site is not allowing me to post there at the moment for one reason or another. Anyway, I have bought the KJW M9 series 92 gun not to long ago (2 weeks) from capital airsoft. I am having a very disapointing problem. When I fire the gun, mag loaded and with gas, the bb is not fired from the barrel, it simply rolls out. I dont know what to do. I am also very new to the sport so help would be much appreciated.

well I dont know what that did but now the gun works. I looked up what the hopup does and im not exactly clear on what it does. like how would that have affected the propulsion of the bb?

oh, not that, its just that if the hopup is all the way off the BB will be pushed PAST the chamber and roll out the barrel, so when you fire it it dry fired, chambered another BB that also rolled out the barrel

the hopup is a rubber nub in the barrel that gives the BB backspin to increase its range as well as holding the BB in place
