Gearbox shceeching
Hey,
So i went to shoot my gun today and I went to shoot it. But all that happened is the screeching noise when i pull the trigger. It is a src g36k btw. Any idea's on what it could be? I tired two batteries too also.

Did you open your AEG before? Maybe your motor height is off (too much pressure on the gears or too little)

Too much pressure would bog it down to the point of no cycling, too little pressure would cause screeching. I'd suggest adjusting the motor in more and see if the pitch changes or stays the same. If not, could be a gear shed a tooth or two. Need more info to be able to help here.

Adjust your motor height with a flat screwdriver at the bottom of the pistol grip. turn it clockwise until it makes the less noise to your ears. (If you push it too far, it will either jam, or start making more noise, so find the middle).

You can tighten it to the point where it makes contact (not good), then turn about 1 turn CCW to loosen it.

It could also be a small hex head screw (like most higher brands of AEG use) that is in the middle of the grip (small hole you'll see). Or, you may have to take off the grip plate to access it. Am familiar with the G36s (CA, TM, etc) but not the brand you mentioned. I haven't worke on too many clones, I got out of gun tech work just as the clones were taking over.

Depends on the sound it makes. Like I posted earlier, it could be your motor adjustment screw worked it's way out, taking the motor out of mesh with the gear, or it could be you have a stripped gear inside, which is a more expensive fix to do.

Yah, I tired the adjustment and the sound was the same. I bought it from ken maybe he would let me send it back fpr repair or replacement?
It was really weird I took it outside shot off three or 4 rounds to adjust the hop up for .2g's ( I was using .25's earlier) . I took it inside layed it on my bed and left it. Then 2 hour's later went to shot it again it screeched. That sorta strikes me as weird.
