How in the hell do I remove my stock off of my G&G GR-16. I tried looking on youtube but found nothing. Would someone throw me a bone please! Pics or video would be nice too.

The adjustment lever, pull it straight away from the stock while pulling off the stock.

there should be 2 screws at the back of the stock take both those out and the stock should come right off.

If it's an A2 or A3 you're going to need a good light source (preferably a small flashlight) and a thin necked philips screwdriver. After you take the buttplate off there should be a tube running along the top of the inside of the stock (deeper in). Stick the screwdriver in and twist it around until it catches the screw and start unscrewing. After a while tug on the stock and if it doesn't come off just keep pulling back lightly while you unscrew.

Hope this helps,
Gabe

No its a GR-16(M4A1). It has a carbine stock. For the life of me I can't find those screws. Am I suppose to take out the mechvox and remove the stock from the inside?

You know that little lever you use to collapse the stock? Grab the end of it closest to the butt of the stock, and pull it downward and toward the gun (opposite the way to adjust the length of the stock). While doing this, pull the entire stock straight back.

Thanks. While I've got you guys attention I was wondering how much a precision inner barrel increases accuracy and distance, and also a new hop up. If anyone can suggest solid brands. i'm curious as to how tightbore I should go. I saw a 6.01 inner barrel for $85.

6.04 is good for a tightbore. If you're using a 6.01 you have to be damned confident of the BB's you're shooting. Tightbores will generally increase accuracy by a decent amount. You won't really get the BB out much further, but it will be more accurate.

Agreed. Below 6.03, you have to be damn sure that your only firing premium BBs all the time and that you clean your barrel regularly. It won't take much dirt or residue in your barrel to cause jams otherwise.

And the small performance difference between 6.04 and 6.01 is not really worth springing the bucks for a new barrel. It will give you modest accuracy and possibly a slight increase in velocity at best.
