Airmag C11 leak.. *solved*

Hi.

Recently I bought myself an airmag C11 (Canadian tire), for pistols games / cheap secondary gun. I never used it yet in a game (a few shots at a target, just to try, but nothing more.) Yesterday a friend of mine (hes new to airsoft and doesnt own a gun yet) wanted to to try it in a "pistol only" game, so I said sure. Note that I couldnt play this day, so he went alone with my gun, and i have no idea what happened (note to myself : NEVER do this again)

So, heres the problem.. today I was finally supposed to try it... I pull the trigger, nothing. "fine, theres no CO2 left"... I change the CO2... "pshhhh", mega leak (co2 coming from the barrel, it seems). I look into the mag well, theres a BB stuck in there... I get it out (turns out it was only HALF a BB), change the Co2, leak again.

I took the gun apart, and it seems like the leak is coming from the "front" of the valve (well, where the barrel/tube is inserted). I have seriously no idea how I could fix this =/. Is it even possible? I tried searching the net for a new valve, but couldn't find anything.

Right now I am really angry at this guy, and I really want to repair the pistol. Help please?

THanks!

Airmags C111 are usually *quite* reliable as cheap backup/secondary, but their main flaw is that there's about to no replacement parts. This includes mags.

A part en acheter un autre, je ne sais pas quoi te dire... Ã* moins que tu connaisses quelqu'un qui en a un dont le gun est brisé et non le mag.

I bought myself 4 spare mags from www.pyramidair.com (and paid extra 40$ bordering fees because of UPS), but they have no valve for the C11...You meant valve, right? The CO2 in the C11 goes directly in the handle, not in the magazine.

Sinon merci quand même. =/

Oh really? I thought they were in the mag as in most Crosman/Airmag CO2 guns. Sorry then, my mistake. Bonne chance

Update!

I think I fixed the leak

Opened the valve and found no "damage" (weird?) on any part. Closed it, connected the CO2 and put it in a bowl of water to try to pinpoint the leak. It was (as I thought) leaking from the front. Took the valve apart again, and added a washer "behind" the spring (to give it more power, in attempt to effectively hold the valve closed tighter). Connected to CO2 again, water tested again, and there was another leak, this time from the bottom of the valve (LOL). This one was quickly fixed with Teflon tape.

It doesn't leak anymore, but the sound when shooting is a bit different (or maybe I'm hearing things.)

Anyway, I'm pretty proud of myself (first airsoft repair haha)
