You probably will get best results by keeping your barrel clean. So many people don't clean their barrels.

Gump taught me the best amount of silcon is just one coated BB's worth. Turn the gun upside down, put a dab of silicon oil on the BB, then drop the BB into the feeder tube and fire the AEG. This is about the perfect amount of oil... More than that and you neutralize your hopup and you can cause problems with your feedpath, your gun does rely on *some* friction in the feedpath. A frictionless feedpath however will cause all kinds of feeding problems (known from experience).

As long as you don't use petroleum based lubricants for extended periods of time it'll be fine.

Awesome, that's what I was hoping for. I've got some proper silicone oil on the way with my AI propane adapter, so I'll do it right from now on.
