It won't let me cycle on full auto anymore, so I guess I'm taking it apart. Looks like I learned this lesson the hard way.

I had the same issue with mine, it used to half cycle on a regular basis.. I found that always using a well charged battery helped.. and as Stalker says.. hold the trigger until it cycles completely. The "easy" fix to this issue, is a Trigger Master chip from DonP. I eventually put one in my SR 16 and it did wonders. I friend of mine still has that gun and it's running smooth as ever.

I had the same issue on my SR-16, but when I started using better batteries with higher mAH the problem disappeared. Try that first if you still get issues have a gun doc look into it.

Ya, make sure you have a decent and fully charged battery in it before you consider it to be an internal problem.

I'm not sure how much of a charge the battery I used had. I'll try it again tomorrow with a charged battery and if that doesn't work I'll take it to someone who knows what they are doing instead of potentially causing more damage if I take it apart myself.

The problem is AEO(Angle of engagement) Sector and Piston. Reason why it does not fire on semi is the piston gear teeth is sitting on top of the sector gear teeth and the only way to release it is pulling the trigger in full.

Update: I put in a fully charge battery and fired off one round in semi-auto and it appears to be working again. I'm pretty relieved. Now I know for next time what not to do.
