KJW 1911 Barrel Jam

Hey everyone sad to say my first post will be in the Dr. Section. I took out the barrel for a strip and polish. Now however once reassembled the barrel is rubbing against the slide and jamming the gun at random times. I have tried to find the reason but had no luck. It seems to be originating in the area just in front of the ejection port where there are 3 grooves. It seems like the problem is occuring with the hammer forward. Hopefully it is something simple any ideas are great.

I can't get the pics up right now but i checked and the source of the rubbing is the back most of the three ridges on the top of the slide. It is a very small section in the top right edge if looking down the gun. I am wondering if the inner barrel and hop up assembly might not be sitting entirely correct as you do need to flex it to remove the inner barrel. Other than that im not sure what else the reason could be. I will try to work out the problem however if there are any suggestions im all ears. I don't want to grind or file my slide unless its a last resort.

If the gun was working before you polished it, the problem is probably a reassembly error. 2 questions-1 what did you "polish" it with and 2-what exactly did you need to "flex", as I don't know of any part of the barrel assembly that doesn't just slide together.

hey I've been too busy to look at the gun untill tonight. it appears that there is a small screw that somehow went missing. It turns out it is the "cylinder screw" according to the manual. I know it is part no.4 and would liek to purchase a replacement but am unsure of how I would do this. Google has sadly failed me at finding a seller of these types of parts or the KJW website. I am just wondering if anyone knows where I could get this part or a suitable replacement.

I've looked a bit more into this and it seems I could pick up the screw from UN company however I need the TM part number but have failed to find an online TM 1911 manual. If anyone could point me in the right direction that owuld be great.

That would be great if shipping is too big a hassel I could try to scan some pics of the KJW manual and get the part number from you.
