CA only firing when motor height is being adjusted

Well, to start off, happy holidays everyone! But anyways on to my problemo:
I have a CA m15a4 Carbine. For some reason when i fire, it will fire fine for a while and then either:
A. The motor will get slower and slower and then just stop
B. Just all of the sudden stop, but you can still hear the motor "rrrrr"....it's not going anywhere but is trying; basically struggling to turn over but can't.
C. It will do absolutly nothing.
So, I will adjust the motor height. Then it will repeat the process above. Like just BARELY even turn the screw and it will do ^^^.

So now, it has gotten worse. It will not fire unless am holding down the trigger in auto and adjusting the motor height; and even then it will only fire for 3 secs max.

Sorry if this was really confusing but i tried my best to explain.
Thanks in advance for your help.
-Brett

It is simply because your motor has reach the end of it's life. When you move the adjustment screw, you move the commutator a tiny bit, and it is just enought to give the kick it needs to start.

Just buy a new motor, it will solve your problem.

to confirm if your motor is bitched, try running it outside of the gun. If it works fine maybe your motor adjustment screw is moving slightly while you shoot.

It won't change a thing. Even if the motor spins outside of the gun. It lacks the torque to spin the gears.

Well i took my motor out and it works out side of the gun and seems to have a significant amount of power, but i'll try it in my friend's JG and see what happens.

Are your motor connectors tight around the motor contacts? Make sure there isn't a loose connection somewhere.

Well, when I put the motor back in, everything worked great. Still running perfectly after 1,000 + rounds. I think it was just that the black wire came loose *wipes sweat off brow*.
Anyways thanks alot for your quick responses! Much appreciated!
