HK94 inspired MP5K-pdw

Heya all!
happy christmas and merry new year.

this is my backup gun and I wanted to have it look more like a rifle, and less like a trainstation - so I removed the side rails, filled the screw holes on the foregrip, switched to shorty magazines for a lower overall profile, added a long-ish barrel, rail mounted flip sight (from an AUG ) at the rear and half-cut the front sight (seen it on a real mp5 once ).
outer barrel is copper tubing, 7 bucks at crappy tire.
the tip at the end of the barrel is the original mp5k barrel end, so it's threaded and looks better than just a tube.
I tried with a spare G36 flash-hider and it looks ok, but I like this config better.

I just kept the bottom rail of the for the indispensable flashlight.
I also ditched the mag clamps that made the whole thing too heavy and went back to good old tape.
I'd like to have a few 9mm shells to put in between each magazine...

I'm still having fps problems but I like the looks of it

here you can see the previous config it used:

You did a good job!

Could it have something to do with the length of the barrel?

Really nice only problem I have is that the sights don't look very parallel to the barrel. Other than that I love it. Should make the front needle in the sight taller so it lines up.

yeah, I drilled a hole in the rear sight at the right elevation.
I'm still looking for a better solution for the rear sight.
