I just bought shoegoo for my ghillie at canadian tire - it is near the paint section in our store.

ShooGoo is at CT, there are a few types, some have nothing to do with ***** (general high strength cement, literally the same stuff), but ShooGoo will be in the section where they sell......................... *****. Go figure. Ya, it's generally right where the shoe polish, laces, insoles, etc. are. Is about $6-7 per tube though.

I was thinking of makeing my ghillie suit out of dyed cloth would tht work instead of burlap and jute.

Yes, but not as well.

Is this hard to comprehend? Really? Specops use the materials they do because they're the best for that application. They're also not even close to being expensive, so I don't see what the issue is.

You can buy a ROLL of burlap for about $20. Four packets of Tintex fabric dye will run you about $10.

Cut the burlap into strips that are 8 feet long and 8 inches wide. Run double stitching down one end of the length, about an inch up from the edge and then "unweave" the material up to that point.

Dump the bands of material into a vat a dye. When dry, sew em to a combat shirt.

This aint rocket science, folks.
