Wow, that is awesome. Does the light appear in pitch black when the ''night vision'' on the camera is off ?

Cell phone cameras/ any camera without an IR Filter can see IR light, cheap nightvision.

The light from your cell phone screen might give you away if you're using it to locate IR signals in the field.

no,,only if i point the tc-lite directly at the camera. to the naked eye the mod is only visible up close.

Looks about the same quality of beam as my NV scope has. What I plan to do though is make an IR filter for my MP5's flashlight foregrip, find a Butler Creek flip up scope cover to fit the bezel, and modify it with an IR filter on it, so I can switch between IR and normal (FUCKING bright Surefire internals) easily. Easier than switching the illuminator on and off on my scope.
