Even though your problem is solved, I would like to mention that it would've been a misaligned recoil rod which jammed your slide. You need to make sure you have properly seated your recoil rod into your slide to prevent this.

cool, thanks man. cept...I cant take the slide off lol omg im not liking this pistol as much as i thought i would. I can slide it back no problem!

Hmm, I've had this problem once before. It resolved itself, so I never really had any technique for correcting it. Something that theoretically should work though, is to rack it back as far as it will go. Hopefully this is far back enough to let you grab the front of the recoil spring guide from the muzzle end, tug it clear if it's jammed on anything, and try to reseat properly it before releasing the slide and trying again.
*edit, same thing if you can't take it off, this can also be caused by the recoil rod being misaligned.
