TM based AK feeding issue.
I usually fix my guns but this one is beyond me. My RPK has feeding issues when fired on FA, it fires 2-3 shots out of 5. There is no consistency in number of blanks fired. Gun works perfect of semi. I've tried different brands of mags, there was no improvement.
Here's what I have in the gun: Guarder compression kit Guarder SP100 spring PSG1 length 6.04 barrel CA metal body. Metal front. 8.4 4200Mah battery Everything else in the mechbox is pretty much stock. Hopup unit is stock TM as well. Any idea?

I would think that if it's not the mag then it's probably the gears slipping. I don't have much experience with this stuff, but I think if the gears are slipping then the loading chamber wont open enough to let a bb in.

I'm thinking nozzle or tappet plate. I just want to see if anyone had similar problem before swaping part in the mechbox.

from what i've heard from proven instances, a sector clip fixes ALL feeding issues on AK's, included some other problems you wouldn't think were associated with feeding.

On a whim, try installing a stock body. I gad some feeding issue years ago with a CA AK body - put the stock back on, and the issues went away. I figured the dimensions of the CA body were off and caused a misalignment between the hop unit and the mag.
Alternately, use a small file and take off a 1/2mm from the front of the nozzle. This may allow the extra clearance for the BB's to feed.

I had some issues with the hop up in my ak and i replaced it with a metal hop up and now it works like a charm.

It was nozzle after all. I had spare TM nozzle sitting around so I put it in instead of filing Guarder nozzle. Gun started feeding fine right away.
Thanks everyone for input.
