Problem with my AI Propane adaptor.
Hey, I purchased an AI propane adapter a while ago... and It's been working flawlessly... Until today.
Today when I was finished loading my mags and I took the propane bottle out of the mag valve, the adapter stuck and nearly emptied my entire propane bottle... It isn't a problem with the bottle, because this bottle has worked all season for me... It's just recently it malfunctioned.. I had a smoke grenade go off next to it... All it did was dye some of the metal orange... Could this have affected it in this way? |

its a common problem with propane adapters, even seen it on a few green gas canisters. its not a profound issue but rather intermittent. all i seen players do to combat this is a bit more silicone oil between the adapter and the propane bottle and short 1-3 second bursts when filling mags.

I had the same thing happen to me the first time I used mine.
From then on I rubbed silicone oil on the bottom of the adapter before sticking it in the bottle, which then allowed it to "release" up and close off the flow. Also, I now have gloves and a small pliers ready in case it sticks and I need to pull it upwards to stop it venting. |

I've used this bottle flawlessly for the entire season.. It's only now that it has started to do that... I'm wondering if it has to do with the fact it was dyed with a smoke grenade.. |

Well, it's pretty difficult to troubleshoot your propane tank via text diagnosis. Are you sure you couldn't have swapped your tank with someone else at a game? Does your current tank pass the gauge test?
Do you have the same problem with a different tank that passes the gauge tank?

I talked to Mark Anderson at A&A and he said to email some one...
I forgot the email address though (d'oh!) Anyone know who I should contact? |

Isn't that just for the guage? Mark was saying something about there being a problem with a couple of the adapters and I should e-mail some one about it...
(I'm gonna wait to see if anyone local ordered a supply of them; Don't wanna be costing AI any more money than I should be) |

You could also try spraying the opening of your tank with brakleen or a aerosol cleaner to try and clear or dislodge any unwanted shite!!!
