That's basically the only way your gonna find them. Just search 'cadpat' every now and then and you'll see a pair eventually.

thanks guys - but i'm concerned more about the authentic impression more than gameplay at this point; I'll probably pick up a pair of Altas as well for actual gameplay

Trust me, you'll find alot more guys using Alta and BLACKHAWK! kneepads then the issued ones...

Indeed. I picked up a set of temperate and arid Alta knee and elbow pads for work. They're what most guys use. The issued ones suck ass.
