Sorry to hear about your problems. My CA mp5 a2 is sitting in the post office in Mississauga for the weekend. I hope mine doesnt have any problems. When you have it on full auto does it fire full auto? Keep us posted as to Mark's response.

Oh it fires...

The only problem it has is intermittent full auto fire when in the semi selector mode. The movement of the selector switch also feels a little "GRINDY" when moved! In full auto it....its full auto ! Mark got back to me late last nite & said that he thinks his gunsmith can do the repair = simple fix. I'm guessing it's the selector plate in the mech box.

One other note, I also purchased an MP5A2 as well from Mark & it performs just fine! The selector switch does feel smoother & more fluid. It has a nicer "CLICK" so to speak!

This is my first mechanical difficiency & I have ordered more than 8 AEG's & GBB's from A&A...Not bad for quality control. Don't worry, Mark will be there to help you out if anything should happen.

I'll keep ya posted on the repairs!

This happens on my CA MP5 as well. If I hold the trigger part way in on semi it fires full auto, the charge is only cut when the trigger reaches the end of its pull. Just do a quick crisp squeeze to fire just one bb.

Full auto fire in semi mode

Which style of MP5 do you have ? Both mine are the Ca MP5 A2 & A3. Both have BT trade markings as well!!

Do you know if this is common to all? I know my other CA AEG's don't do this AT ALL !!!

just to update Ive used my mp5 a2 now for 2 games and it has perfomed flawlessly. Really like this gun, almost ashamed to say a little more so than my m15 spc. CA has produced another winner.
