Question on charging 12v battery...
Since my charger can only charge upto 8 cells.. ( which is 9.6v ).. i need to group my 12v (10 cells) battery to two parts.. let say 5 cells and 5 cells.. or 4 cells and 6 cells.. I will charge it using an alligator clip on the ( + ) & ( - ) of every 5 cells.
My question is... how safe it is to do this?!? thanks btw, my charger is TLP EXPRO II pulse charger (4 - 8 cells)

Should be good as long as you make sure not to short any cells. You could actually add some wires to the center of the pack, with a bullet plug on it (female of course) and use it to charge your pack.
