Extendable Stock problems

So, I have an extendable stock installed on my M15A4. However, the bolt that clips it in place, is not doing its job. I spent most of last night trying to figure out how to make it fit so that it will catch, and its just not happening.....

Its the G&P Extended Battery Buttstock.

Basically, to release the stock theres the clip on the bottom, which is also how it stays in place with a bolt basically. And theres the 4 pieces that are involved in it, The Release leaver, the spring, the nut and bolt. I cannot make it so when the bolt is in there attatched with everything, it will catch on the holes on the underside of the stock.

Any help will be appreciated!

So basically it just slides back and forth without catching? If that's the casem then I think the holes are smaller than the bolt. That was the case for me at one time.
