KSC USP Compact inner barrel removal

I just got a SD Slide and barrel for my USP compat and I'm trying to install the barrel first. So far, I've got the little plastic screw, the copper cap, and spring out of the bottom of what seems like the hop-up unit. There's a pin below the barrel but I'm not sure if it's what's preventing the barrel from sliding out.

Any help would be appreciated.

I've tried to fit the slide (with no blowback chamger) on the frame already and the fit is way too tight (as expected). Which part of the slide do I need to sand down? The raised portions or the groove?

the pin is indeed stopping it from coming out. Pop it out with a hammer and some form of punch. Just be gentle. It might not fit properly in the new one (mine was too loose), so I just applied a bit of scotch tape to both sides of it, seems to have done the job.

Thnx, that did the trick. Now i put the inner barrel into the new metal outer barrel and put in into the slide but I think the hop-up unit sticks too far out and the chrome gas exit (that long tube) is jamming into the inner barrel...

It needs some work, anyone else having or had this problem?

make sure you lube up the blowback chambre properly (especially the part that slides in and out). Push it all the way out and all the way in a few times with a bit of oil, then fire a few shots. Your hop up rubber shouldn't have moved too much, so I would assume it's the other part that's messing up a little.
