Broken VSR-10 stock
The stock on a VSR-10 I just bought is broken (litteraly in 2 pieces, rear and front). It was fixed by the last owner, but I am affraid it won't last too long. I'd like to know what are the options I have to either repair or replace the stock.
Right now it is held by an aluminium plate fitted to the inside of the stock and held there by screws, but it can move a little bit and I don't like it too much... I looked around on retailer's sites but I could not find a stock alone, can anyone give me hints? Thanks in advance! (sorry if the english is not perfect, I am a damn francophone) |

There are only two aftermarket stocks available for the VSR-10 right now. One is from Smokey's and while it looks futuristic it also costs an arm and a leg. The more reasonable is one from KM/Head1950 which is made of wood and sells for about $100USD. There are a few small problems with that stock however; The stock is intended for right-handers only (can be modified.) The stock needs to be modified to fit a G-Spec model (works fine for Pro Sniper/Real Shock/USR-11.) Finally it is next to impossible to find. Most of the major Asian distributors don't seem to carry it although I did find it at Tokyo-Model Company.
The other alternatives are modifying a real steel Remington 700 stock or just plain old making your own. Since it's airsoft there's not recoil thus just about anything will do. |

I've got the KM wood one for sale. Drop me a PM if you're interested. I could probably be convinced to part with my regular G-Spec stock alternatively.
