Help! Wire Connected to the Motor.
I Purchased a new systema complete gearbox brandnew. While I was changing the motor the metal piece (wire from the mechbox) that allows the wire (from the mechbox) to clip on to the motor snapped off.
Is there away to fix this... Advice would be much appreciated. |

Canadian Tire sells these plugs. Check the automotive section.

I did the same thing the other day, I jsut found a clean piece of thin, yet strong metal that fit the connector, drilled a hole, and attached it to the connector screw.
EDIT: I might have misread, not the male connector plate form the motor, but the female connection on the wire. Roger that lol,

They are a 1/8 inch female disconnect available at Crappy Tire in the automotive electrical section. All you need to do is remove the plastic insulation around the connector and replace the broken one.
Try not to shorten the wire and preserve as much copper as possible. Then put a little heat shrink over the new connection and PRESTO!!! I have to replace those things every once in a while.
