We are not allowed weapons.. They are kids afterall...
All I have to defend me is a lousy panic button that call backup, a set of keys to trow at them while I escape...

Wrong! hehe. They give us some very good formation in self defence and physical interventions. If I where to use the E2d teeths in a strugle, I would have to seriously justify myself... Even if I hit the kid in the face with my fist... Anyway it rarely happend. If you don't act like a cowbow, you won't have to fight like one.

I got the G&P T-6 Tactical Flashlight with 5W LED and it also has the strobe function. At $79USD from Wargamer's, it's a really solid performer and a great deal.

I have a few Surefire's and love them, but they dont have the strobe. Maybe I'll look into that G&P. I really dont need yet another $300+ flashlight.

That's neat. Does it have the dimmer function and all the overheat prevention safety?

I'm not sure about the overheat protection circuitry, but it definitely doesn't have the dimmer function.

As a tactical light, it can do without that function, but it would be really handy if it did have it. Just for doing general looking under couches for lost springs, sometimes this light is just WAY too bright!

I want the Gladius especially for it's dimmer function because 90% of it's use will be in dimmed mode. 5% in full power and 5$ in stobe hehe.

I hate paying 5$/cell x2 or x3 depending on the light I use. 60 min of continuous light is not enough for everynight use.

Have you considered the SureFire LED line? I have a E2L and its excellent on batteries. Its also as bright as my E2D.

Yeah, I'm a surefire fan, I own 2, sold my the other...
But surefire don't offer the stobe mode and dimmer like the Gladius does. I saw the articles when the Gladius was still in devloppement and I knew they where going to make something unique for change.... And there it is... Surefire will keep up, but in the mean time, I need this Gladius.
hehe

A slight cant to the wrist is recognized as a strong single-handed shooting form, allowing one to manage recoil better. I think the Russians popularized it first, in the olympics (they had a habit of bringing new techniques and technologies to olympic shooting and cleaning up).
