So I put my metal barrel and slide on my KSC USP.45 and...
I own the KSC USP.45
(NOTE this is my first gun) I recently got the metal slide and body, and decided to put them on myself. I had no trouble with the slide, but I did with the outer barrel. Problem 1: while trying to get it out, it seems I cranked the hopup too much one way or the other, and small bits of what seemed to be rubber (pretty sure it was) Problem 2: the BIG problem. I reassembled my gun, and then fired. First shot or two was ok. flamed.gif Then... it began to misfire. I'd pull the trigger, the slide would blow back, but nothing would come out. Then I'd shoot again and two bullets would come out, or would drop out, etc... That's bad. It never happened before. I thought maybe it was the hopup, so I tried to tune it and the little hopup ball bearing came out, so I had to take it apart again and put it in its place. SO Do you think its a hopup problem? Can I get a new hopup for the gun? MAYBE its a spring problem? Where could I get a better recoil spring for the USP45 though? It has the disadvantage of being too new to have too many spare parts :/ PERHAPS I could buy the KSC Mk23 spring(s) and use those? Think that will work? thoughts? |

Based on only what you said.. I would be concerned about messing with the hop up.. may have done something that is catching the BB.
