No no, the mini batteries usually have a smaller outlet, so you would need a small to large adapter to charge it or use it.

One problem I found, confirmed my Lisa, was that when changing over from a small mini battery connector to a large battery connector (makes for easier mating of batteries to chargers, as well as emergency borrowing of spare batteries on the field), for the most part the key (aka. the little latch on the connectors) are reversed.
I had 4 mini's at one point, over the course of a few days I cut the small connectors off and put new large ones on. Out of the four, there was one that would blow the fuse in my charger when I tried to plug it in. Took it onto the local hobby shop (where I had bought a set of large connectors, a pair of male & female ends, with theh metal contacts for each for $4), after about 30mins of trying to find out if a cell was dead or something, it turned out that I had tried to match the key on the small connector with the key of the large one, and in which case had caused USAF Captain Murphy's Law to apply. "Chances are, if there is a right way and a wrong way of hooking up a connector, the wrong way will always be done first!" http://www.murphys-laws.com/murphy/murphy-true.html Lucky for me, I work in the same type of environment as Captain Murphy, so there are ways of preventing this type of mistakes from happening. |

mini and large battery use different connectors one is kyosho and tamyia (is the larger i think?) also the hobby shops local dont carry the smaller plugins for some reason. so get an adapter or get ready to mod your battery with a larger plugin.

That's weird. Most hobby shops do carry both sizes...unless they're those model train bastards who only carry the larges. I had to travel a bit to get a piece.
