Best method for applying silicone oil to mag?
As no one probably knows, I will be getting my stock KSC Glock 18c tomorrow and have already purchased 100% Pure Silicone Shock Oil (Grade: 10) to lube the mag before I fill it up with PC Duster gas (1,1,2 Tetrafluoroethane). I am aware that I should put 1-2 drops of the lube where the gas is supposed to be filled, but I was wondering what the best method for applying it. Is aiming and letting a drop fall the only way?
PS: If you need some way of transfering gas from the PC Duster gas to your magazine, look around at the dollar store for butane bottles with "Universal Adapters". My butane bottle was called "Helping Hand" and came in a White/Blue metal bottle with a red cap. Try all the adapters for the right one.

Check the Information section, really. GBB care and feeding is in there someplace (you repeated some of it).
Turn the mag upside down, put a few drops of oil in the recess where the valve is, then proceed to fill with gas. Next time you have money, buy a propane adaptor. |

Just put a drop on the fill valve just before filling it. That is more than enough, and will get into the mag as well.
<funny, seems the past week I've been chasing Greylocks around the forums answering noob's questions after he just posted.......................Hmmm.........> |

Hehe Marc, that's funny! I think it's the fact that you are spending more time on ASC now, and you like posting as soon as someone asks a question, then I see it just after and then spoonfeed them. Lol, coincidence I guess.

It's just timing. I see, I can answer or point to something to read, I post. If I dont know the answer, or even where to find the answer, I say nothing.
