customizing ak-47 stock!
Hey guys, I am just wondering. Are you able to coustomize a ak-47 stock so that it fits a 9.6 battery. this battery is quite large and is bigger then most batteries. it is not one of those ones that are specially made to fit the stock ak stock.

I would not.
You'd have to split the stock apart without breaking it, see if you can snap or cut any of the internal support to allow that. That would weaken your stock. There's no mechanical upgrade that I know of for the AK that requires that much effort just to have a tad more voltage. An 8.4v, 2000mah battery will crank anything and not run out of juice. |

i've done it - you basically have to cut an internal support in order to get it to fit (you dont really have to split it - just take down the end plate and carefully cut the support).
like grey says - this will weaken your stock, so if you tend to abuse it dont do it. |
