small spring in m4
Hi there,
so my friend just got his new m4 and it came with a weak pin holding the gun together. Any how we took the gun apart(not internally) and we noticed a small spring about 2cm long and 2 mm wide ffall out. We werent sure what or where it came from, but as we put the gun back together the level that you pull but doesnt do anything, wouldnt fully snap back into place so we're thinking it has something to do with that but cant figure out where it goes? any ideas? Thanks

Only thing I can think of (is smaller than you describe, about 1cm long and 1-2mm wide) is the spring that sits on the upper side of the selector switch. It is on the left hand side of the mechbox, on the outside. Is an important spring, see if you can find it. If not, might not be much of a problem to post a wanted add on here to see if anyone has any spares. If not, might find a cut down spring form a Bic lighter (presses the flint into the striker wheel) might work as a replacement.
Best of luck! |

charger spring? sits right above the hop-up....or the spring that positions the hop-up?
