TM Desert Eagle .50AE Hard Kick
So I just received my TM Desert Eagle .50AE today and when I took it out of the box the first thing I did was remove the red stopper from the end of the barrel. Second, I loaded some BB's in the magazine that came with it. Third, I placed the full magazine in the gun. Then I cocked the slide and fired my first shot. Stupidly, I cocked the slide again and fired a second shot, not knowing that there was a BB in the chamber already. Then I wasn't able to shoot it again up till now. I checked if there was a BB stuck anywhere inside the gun but there was nothing. I even removed the slide and checked inside the barrel with the cleaning rod that it came with. I also checked the magazine and counted the BB's left inside and added up that I shot 3 BB's out. Then I looked down my hallway and found the 3 BB's that I fired. So what's wrong with my gun, why won't it shoot again? I even tried filling it up with some 134a gas but nothing happens. WTF! :banghead:

K. Check the Hop up - make shure its not on max and when you say nothing happens when you fire it now do you mean absolutly nothing or is there a reaction, if so I need details bud. |

Check the loading nozzle.. maybe take the slide off and do a quick check of the internals, make sure nothing is damaged or deformed.

Yeah when I pull the trigger absolutely nothing happens. Even when I put 134a gas and load up the magazine absolutely nothing happens, and I haven't even touched the hop up yet but it's in the middle. I also took the slide off to check if everything was alright and it seemed alright to me.

After you fill the mag with gas, can you push the valve in with your finger??
Read the manual. There's a nice diagram teaching you how to fill gas. |

The BB's I was using are the ones that came with the gun. And yeah when I put gas in the magazine I can push the valve down.

If you can push in the mag valve, it means there is no gas in your magazine.

what valve are you trying to fill the gas into? the large one? or the little one on the bottom of the mag.

There's only one hole at the bottom of my mag. So I'm guessing that that's where you put the gas. How long am I supposed to be putting gas in the mag chamber? I think that's my problem.

Read the manual to see how to fill it up properly.
Hold it until liquid starts spewing out. |

Remember, hold the mag and the can of gas upside down.

Ok I held the gas there until liquid came out and still I was only able to fire 2 shots. I think that there's a leak in the chamber but I can't tell because it isn't making that hissing sound.

Are you SURE that you are filling it with both the magazine and the gas can upside down? Make SURE of this... that sounds like the problem.
