I've checked mine and it's definately an Allen screw there. Mine is upgraded with a RA-TECH trigger group too.

That's a Torx screw.

Get the right tools and it should be fine (assuming you did not damaged it beyond extraction).

Worst case, you will have to drill it out, I suggest an extractor/left-hand drill bit for that.

Can you tell me the exact size bit I need? I should have these already and I've tried them.

I don't know.

I have seen the stock WE one, and it looks like a M2 allen.
So I would guess T8 would work, but consider T6, T7, T8, T9, T10. If one looks like it fits but does not actually enter, try to "hammer" it in gently, that might save your screw (not really, you should replace it).
