g&p magpul m4 fps issue.

Ok so when i bought the gun it was shooting at 460fps. Took the gun back and said i needed it below 400. They swapped springs and said it was at 380. I went and played tested fps it was 440fps. Took the gun to another shop and same thing. Asked for below 400 and was told that they could not get it below 420 and it now has a m120 spring. They said it might settle a little fps but that doesnt help me. I thought m120 springs are around 400 fps +- a few? I was told there is a lower spring but that is in the low 300s. Not sure what i should do now.

...a shop told you they can't get it under 400? I'd advise you to not listen to them ever.

an M110 will put you where you want to be if your compression is decent.

OP. where are you located? What shops did you go to. Not sure why you wouldn't go back to the first shop and complain instead of paying again at a different store.

An m110 spring should be sufficient for sub 400fps
