Airsoft Central BB's are the absolute worst BB every made. I don't care if this is going to cause flaming.

Seriously, they are shit. I have seen so many guns with problems at another field that was using those I cant even tell you. To add, I am aware of a retailer who threw them in the garbage after a year of trying to sell them.

I have handed a mag to a guy with another brand who was in the middle of working on his gun that had those. His gun sounded like shit and had serious feeding issues. Plopped in mine. Shot fine. Watched him dump those in the garbage right then and there.

Likely you have a clearance problem with your nozzle. I will bet money on it now. The Airsoft centrals are made to a tolerance all over the place. I have personally measured them at our gauge lab here. We used 3 different people and 3 different mics. We found them to be out of roundness and varying in size top limit and past. Small is ok---too big= jam.

When a gun has a tight set up, those amplify the issue. That is why when you switched it worked "for a while"

If there is ANY restriction in the chamber at all the bb will jam/fart as you put it. Take it further and you will grind your gears.

So here is the deal. Get that nozzle out now and put the ICS back in. Second, loose the airsoft central bb's.

Again this is my opinion, but keep in mind I am running a field and issuing another brand not mentioned here for this reason. I am not pushing a brand I use which is NOT BB Bastard. Those are fine as well, I just have settled in the brand we use which I know will not toast a gun and is extremely repeatable.

gears grinding after a fart is a compression jam... it's sealing enough to hold some pressure but not enough to shoot. This can strip a piston very quickly unless you have a steel rack piston. the ACs are great ammo for highcaps... they just jam up in the mag more than anything... they fly nice and straight otherwise.

And then it either strips pinion gears or lights your battery on fire

Since it worked for a while with bastards, did you check the hop-up rubber? It can be worn just enough to jam the BB at the lips and will do exactly what you describe.

I have a nice swollen 7.4 that will attest to that
