kwa mp9 receiver seperating

Ok I am at a loss on this one. I have a KWA mp9. I installed an Npas into it. Now when I put it together and go to use it the back end will not stay together. I tried putting some extra tension on the spring by stretching it to see' if that helps and it doesn't. There is no body pin that goes into this spot... I am very confused by how installing an Npas can make the body not fit together anymore lol.

Any ideas?

That pin/guide is supposed to go lower.
Make sure that the pin can be seen in the upper receiver hole (centered) and them press hard on the top of the upper. The metal bracked has a slot and hole at the end. The "collar" section of the guide is supposed to go in the hole of the plate.

if you gun is new, it will wear and be easier.

If it's old, you might have to change the plate/have it fixed (I think that plate was molded in the receiver... can't remove it)

I recently seen 3 guns with the same incident, 3 of these said guns where sold to friends by me,

Each one of them had their own unique fix

One guy put a thin layer of tape on the rod so friction holds it better
The second guy taped the upper and the lower together using electrical tape
The third, he did the funniest thing, crazy glued the Upper and lower together....

Can you provide details on how you solved the said problem maybe with some pictures too

Maybe wedge a piece of stiff rubber under the spring guide to help keep it in place then glue the rubber in once you know it will hold the spring guide. You mite even use a small piece wire like a twist tie to keep the rubber in place raping the wire around the first thin plate.

The rubber should give you enough flex to remove the top cover or spring guide. Of cores if I had it in my hand's I could refine the mod.

actually what the issue was is exactly like kmos said. The Pin was not going far enough into the bracket in the back. I took a file and just took very little metal off the inside. It appears that there must have been a bur some place.... Not sure how it occurred but it goes together nice now. A little play upfront but I think thats how it always was.
